POSTRIO is a restaurant which features a beautiful red and gold private banquet room.  This banquet room is the perfect place for any group private event.  SIGHT & SOUND EVENTS has hosted events in the banquet room for as many as 100 guests with a dance floor.  There's even a smaller banquet room which if you're not having entertainment works perfectly for a small group dining experience.  The bigger red and gold private banquet room is very elegant and photographs great.  Postrio's chef, under the direction of the world's most celebrated chef, Wolfgang Puck, will present a delicious menu that you're guests will enjoy.  The special event team knows how to create some unique table settings too which include menu cards at each place setting.  A lot of their clients whether corporate or wedding will bring items to place at each setting where staff will gladly place at each setting.  All chairs have "chair covers" which adds sophistication to each event.

A majority of the events we produce and service with POSTRIO have a cocktail hour (open bar) followed by a sit down dinner, cake cutting and dancing.  The POSTRIO staff are all very attentive to the needs of guests and extremely friendly.  They will go out of their way to ensure that everyone has the ultimate dining experience.

Finding the RIGHT Background Music for your Event

The most commonly asked question our wedding and special event producers receive is, "What do you suggest for background music?"  In some circumstances when we get to that part of the design session our clients didn't even think about that. 

Background music which is played when the ballroom doors open (prior to grand entrances) AND at dinner shouldn't be CRAZY yet.  When guests walk into a ballroom they want to get comfortable with their element which means finding a place to sit and drinking that cool cocktail.  So the background music shouldn't be sleepy (Yani pops into my mind right way) it should be 'COOL' and CLASSY.  "VINTAGE VEGAS".  "Vintage Vegas" is what we at Sight & Sound Events call that 'Rat Pack' Vegas sound.  Selections from artists like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. Bobby Darin, Tom Jones, Wayne Newton and lite Elvis.  Mix that sound in with some Michael Buble, Diana Krall and some smooth jazz selections (Eric Darius, Peter White and Boney James are just some awesome hip Jazz artists) and you'll have an awesome party soundtrack for background music.
