So ok you all know that Sight & Sound's Event Team has been slammed since we last blogged.  I'm sorry but this is a good one.  Jodi, CEO of FUN, was searching the internet for some information and found this web site today (4.10.09) the exact date ten years ago from today and had to share this with you all.  We stumbled across our DJ work from 10 years ago!

Sight & Sound Events Presents: Olivia & Francis

 

It was a sunny and cold Las Vegas day, Saturday, December 27th,  just after the Christmas Holiday when Olivia and Francis came to Las Vegas to say their "I Do's" with friends and family in attendance.  The setting was the beautiful, modern Westin Casuarina Hotel. The ceremony took place in a side ballroom with the celebration in the Acacia Ballroom next door.  Friends and family flew in from New York and New Jersey to celebrate this day with them. The wedding professional team of Sight & Sound Events was there to assist in creating fun memories and capturing it all on photos and video.  Jodi Harris, the CEO of FUN produced the entire days events making sure that no event was missed, every detail was in place and that everyone had a great time.

Is Your Budget Realistic?

In today's challenging world those of you planning an event need to understand first of all where your priorities fall.  So you'll need to evaluate what services are the MOST IMPORTANT to you.  Sight & Sound Events recently met with a bride from the Bridal Spectacular show whose most important priority was the entertainment.  It was important enough for her to invest more money in GOOD, QUALITY and FUN entertainment than any of her other services.  When asked about a budget for entertainment she didn't have one yet because she wanted to meet the best in the business and build a budget from that. 

The top 4 ingredients to a successful reception according to recent newlyweds were the location, the entertainment, the photography and the videography.  When its all said in done the photos and video are truly the ONLY way to remember the party.  The entertainment was the driving force behind those great photos and video. 

The solution to whether your budget is realistic is to research the best in the 4 categories (location, entertainment, photos and video) take time to meet these professionals survey the funds you set aside in the budget and get a realistic budget based on your meetings with these professionals.

This strategy is a sure fire success strategy in selecting the vendors for your wedding.  Your comments are always welcome.

This bridal show is unlike any you've experienced as it will be an intimate showcase of the preferred wedding vendors of the Las Vegas Stirling Club.  Exhibitors will be given 10 minutes to make a presentation to all attendees begining at 12:30 pm.  Patrick Sean Harris, Event Director, will make his presentation on the benefits of Sight & Sound Event services at 4:00 pm.
